I mean the first Americanninja was great but let's get real folks it has nothing on Ninja 3 This film is the greatest ninja film ever made in my opinion and if you haven't seen it then its worth watching. Kosugi is sent from Japan to take care of the situation. The only way the spirit will leave aerobic instructor's body is with the help of another ninja. But soon enough, she's systematically killing, ninja-style, the officers responsible for the ninja's death, and can only be stopped by another ninja! Thefight scenes are well-choreographed and exciting,and the film is neverboring. In this slick exploitation, martial arts fantasy from schlockmeisters Menahem Golan and Yoram Globus, an evil ninja is killed off in a sandtrap on a golf course in Phoenix -- the police riddle him with bullets, foolishly thinking that is the end of it. Also among the cast is the incredibly prolific and always wonderful character actor James Hong, playing a Japanese spiritualist.
She can almost, but not quite, carry this thing. Lucinda Dickey who made the Breakin' movies looks like a low-rent Linda Hamilton and she is not very good in the fight scenes. The fight scenes were excellent. This is a story of love,redemption and revenge, however, this is mainly a story about flippingout and killing people for no reason at all. I actually thought Lucinda Dickey was pretty likable in this film.
And when he was caught, he tells the officer Christie was involved withthat everything will be fine. What stood out for me is that this movie takes place entirely in Phoenix, Arizona. I've never seen nor heard of this film. I can only imagine how Dickey must have felt when she saw the finished product - she probably wanted to run the editor through with a katana for real because those reaction shots make her look like a complete idiot. And How about Lucinda Dickey? We all know that Sho Kosugi rocks.

Golan-Globus has been incredibly consistent over the years in style, subject matter and point-of-view. I remember catching this movie on one of the Showtime channels.

You prove early on,while trying to seduce the buxom Christie played to perfection by oneMiss Lucinda Dickey of Breakin' fame that you are not afraid to takechances on your craft. He finds it, andthe sword transforms him into a super ninja. For almost no reason at all At least it's not explained in the movie ,a guy comes into a cave looking for a hidden sword.
A ninja gets shot up by the police, and uses his spirit for revenge. If you're ready to just kick back and put your brain in neutral, the laughs and thrills are enough to keep you satisfied for 94 straight minutes. And remember … please be kind and rewind. This is just the beginning of thegreatness, people. Of course, Chirstie did her best trying to put theninja in his place for using her a tool for revenge. There's plenty of action to enjoy; Dickey looks great in and out of ninja costume even if she is doubled by stunt men for the majority of the action sequences.

So forget stupid dialogue,lame acting and annoying soundtrack-grabsome beer and check this one out! But only a ninja can destroy a ninja so she and her boyfriend who is also one of her targets enlist the help of Yamad Sho Kosugi to release the evil ninjas spirit and destroy him. Wow - this movie has everything!!! I've always been fascinated by ninjistsu, who would know that it willgo further than beyond. She's nicely muscled and curvy, has great cheekbones and some athletic 'ooomph' to her movements, and you can actually suspend belief enough to accept that her character could do some of the feats she pulls off in the movie.
Then another ninja from Japan comes to kill the evil ninja. That is all I can say. Man i thought Sho k. You've got a Final Confrontation between the Good Guy and The Bad Guy which goes on for 20 minutes and just sort of stops like a RoadRunner cartoon instead of reaching a climax or a resolution. The body of a sexy aerobics instructor is invaded by the evil spirit of a dying ninja. They don't want you to have hope for the future, or to think you have a chance.
And just to show you how 3rd-rate and uninspired G-G movies are, the director and editor inter-cut the last climactic fight between Kosugi and the Bad Ninja scene with numerous reaction shots of Dickey and her boyfriend watching the life and death battle with an expression of mild bemusement. While previous commentors have metioned the sword flying out of the closet on the string no one has yet metioned the powerful love scene. She's got all theright moves as both a temptress and a martial arts whiz. I particularly enjoyed how you do not feel theneed to step in and attempt to help her as 4 thugs try to rape heroutside her gym. This chick isdefinitely Michael Dudikoff on steroids.
He then has to possesses ayoung woman who finds him dying. This film is very refreshing, and likely to be banned at any moment. . Oh you could have helped sure, but by standing thereand watching you let her know who was boss. The plot being that this woman's soul is possessedby an evil ninja spirit. Action A female aerobic instructor is possessed by an evil spirit of a fallen ninja when coming to his aid.
